Let Us Compost

Sorry for the lack of blogging recentley...we have had a big, big month! We have moved to Atlanta, John has been studying for the bar and I have started a new job at Carter's!

In the mean time, here is a logo I did for a couple in Athens who are starting up a company called Let Us Compost which is a pick up service for compostable food waste. It is a great idea for people that don't want to compost themselves, but also don't want to throw away compostable food in the garbage.

They will be picking up the compostable items in a blue datson truck, so we wanted to include that in a hand-drawn way. The lettering is also hand-drawn to give it a rustic feel.

National Stationery Show

I just got back from the National Stationery Show...it was my second year going and was such a fun time. I was lucky enough to see all kinds of amazing brands...there is so much creativity out there and was very inspirational. It's also a great excuse to plan a trip to NYC ;)

Wedding Day Brunch

Here is an invitation I did for a wedding day brunch coming up in June. We went with lilac and cream (the bride's colors) with some peony illustrations. I love the traditional-southern look!

CalligrEMMY!

For Mother's Day, I got my mom a custom calligraphy stamp made by the very talented CalligrEMMY. Her style is just gorgeous and my mother loved. She also does custom stationery, weddings, you name it...so if you're looking for a great gift, she's your girl!

Happy Day

Today my sweet Daddy would have been 63 years old. I sure do miss this guy...Happy Bday, old man!

Calligraphy Love

I had the best Saturday yesterday learning a little calligraphy during a workshop through AIGA at binders. We learned how to use a calligraphy pen and focused on flourishes. I had such fun, it's truly yoga for your hands!

Charleston Wedding

Wedding invitation for a Charleston wedding coming up this month. We chose a deep chocolate brown for the ink color, I love how they came out!

New camera, haray!

Husband and Mother gave me an SLR camera for my birthday and I couldn't be more excited! As you can tell by my previous posts, my old camera was not the best in the world. I'm still learning how to use it, but I promise from now on my pics will be much more b-e-a-utiful! Here's a picture of O-baby where you can see every little whisker on his little nose.

Logo & Business Cards

I made a new logo for Atlanta real estate agent, Bonneau Ansley, and his group. We wanted something traditional with a little trendy-ness to it. The business cards were printed on double thick paper and so they have a super luxurious feel to them.

Wedding Invitation

My cousin had the most gorgeous wedding in Nashville last weekend. I was honored to design her wedding invitations. We made a logo with their two initials that was carried out throughout the wedding. More pics to come!
